The youngest Jonas Brother recently went to Washington, D.C., to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama about the need for more diabetes research. The International Diabetes Federation reports there are 440,000 children under 14 years old with type 1 diabetes in the world. The global incidence is on the rise, with an estimated 70,000 children in this age group diagnosed annually. “While technology has made it much easier for me to manage my diabetes, technology is not a cure ….
